Manually Locking Out a User, or Removing Them from your Account

Locking out a user:

If you have a team member that has left your team, or you are simply wanting to lock them out of the platform temporarily, you can do so by going to:  Settings > My Staff.


Locate the user account and click the Edit button (not the dropdown chevron).


Expand the User Info section, and change the email address slightly.  For example:  If the original email was me@gmail.com, you could change it to me-lockedout@gmail.com.


People have asked "Why not just change the password?"  


Answer:  The user has the ability to request a 'Forgot Password' during login.  If the email isn't changed....your efforts to change the password will be wasted, since the email address for the user is still valid and they can simply create a new password.



Removing them from your account:

From the same area mentioned above, simply click the dropdown chevron to reveal actions you can take.


  1. You can remove them from the location, or
  2. Delete their account.


Click Delete
